Complexity, Integration, Communication
The spirit of making connections among people, places and ideas resonates throughout the profession of architecture. The nature of design is all about making connections, and implies that in a world of individuals, we are actually stronger when we reach outside customary settings and form as a collective.

In a time of great flux in the profession (and discipline), in a struggling economy, and with high performance design of sites and communities demanding a collaborative problem solving methodology, connections are even more important. Design has the power to fuse various disparities and bridge across boundaries to both inform and form a more vibrant future.
